Mestizo
Contemporary Mexican cooking rooted in regional Guanajuato traditions.
About Mestizo
Mestizo offers contemporary Mexican cooking, with its roots firmly in the regional culinary traditions of Guanajuato. Located on Positos 69 in the Centro neighborhood, this restaurant provides a modern take on local flavors. Guanajuato's Centro is characterized by its hilly terrain, narrow callejones, and a vibrant pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, making it ideal for exploring on foot before or after your meal. The area has limited parking, so walking or using local transport is recommended.
Operating Tuesday through Sunday from 1 PM to 10 PM, Mestizo is a good option for a leisurely lunch or an evening dinner. Given its location in the popular Centro area of Guanajuato, especially during peak tourist seasons or local festivals, it is advisable to arrive early or call ahead to secure a table, as it can get busy. Its focus on contemporary regional dishes provides a distinct dining experience.
