- No pay-to-play rankings. Position on category pages is determined by verified reviews, ratings and editorial vetting — never by ad spend.
- Every listing is verified. We confirm the business exists, talks to customers, and is actively operating before it appears in the directory.
- Reviews are moderated. See our Trust & safety page for the full moderation policy.
- Editors disclose conflicts. If we have a relationship with a business we cover, we say so on the page.
- Content is dated and updated. Guides show a last-updated date and we refresh top guides quarterly.
Coverage area
We cover the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, with deepest coverage in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato Capital, León, Dolores Hidalgo, Celaya, Irapuato, Salamanca and Acámbaro. Surrounding pueblos mágicos and day-trip destinations like Mineral de Pozos and Cristo Rey are included where relevant.
